Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager – Power Plant (Technical Services) is responsible for overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft engines and APUs, while actively monitoring engine health using systems like Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM). The role involves providing technical support to maintenance crews, resolving in-service engine issues, and coordinating with OEMs such as Rolls-Royce, GE, and Pratt & Whitney. The incumbent ensures strict compliance with aviation regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, DGCA), manages technical documentation, and interprets ADs, SBs, and EOs. Additional duties include tracking LLP sheets, managing engine preservation, conducting performance and root cause analyses, and optimizing engine reliability and cost-effectiveness. The role also involves managing engine-related projects, preparing shop visit work scopes, coordinating with MROs, and reviewing associated invoices and OEM costs.
