Minimum requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering (any stream), 10+ years of experience
Experience in Commercial, Sales, Customer Experience, Call Centre of Airlines
Good Knowledge of Airline Revenue Management System
Experience implementing systems in Airports.
Understanding of Govt regulatory requirements for Airline applications
Any additional certifications in IT will be preferred.
Minimum three-years hands on experience in PSS (Sabre/Galileo/Amadeus/Navitaire etc.,) environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis of PSS system, manage PSS application and handle day-to-day queries from Business departments.
Act as the Single SPOC for PSS application for the vendor and internal department, raising CR for PSS system and UAT.
Monitor and recommend solution based on Sales Channel Performance
Manage/Handle API integrations with PSS, OTA, and other Operations Systems
Lead the IT Commercial Stream and support AGM-IT for operational excellence.
Manage/Lead the implementation of Airline Revenue management solution.
Give/Lead training for PSS for Airport/Office Staff based on the new Airport opening.
Escalate issues to AGM/GM and CIO which are not addressed timely by the vendors.
Ensure proper reporting and updates on the operations/projects managed.
Manage reconciliation of Sales collection from Collins/PayU and Airports
Good Knowledge and hand-son experience of Departure Control Systems
Deal with Airport DCS operators like SITA/ARINC/RESA etc. for Airport system integration.
Manage statistical model implementation for Revenue management decision making.
Manage and recommend alternatives for RM team for rate definitions in PSS system.
Manage IT PSS /Customer Experience/Revenue Management/Marketing/Ecommerce /Call Centre systems and Business stakeholders.
In coordination with, Marketing Department, to undertake specific marketing initiatives and ensure it is implemented in the Ecommerce Website
Manage eCommerce website for Star Air, undertake and lead initiatives for managing/revamping the Website.
